IP Protocol

Reteaua IP (IP Network) este compusa din doua parti:

– Network identifier
– Host identifier

CLASA A
Dedicata retelelor f.f. mari unde se pot lega mai multe hosturi.

CLASA B
Este potrivita pentru retele mijlocii

CLASA C
Pt retele f. mici

CLASA D
Multicast group ID (28 bits)

CLASA E
Rezervata pentru viitoare folosinte (27 bits)
